Are Media campaigns enough-

Recently i read articles on the caste discrimination in the Times of India under the Jaago Gujarat Campaign. Thereafter i had prolonged discussion over this issue with my friends. Does this Jaago really make a sense. Does this idea of awareness make a difference. At a time when we talk of India plunging into an accountable economic power, Indians are still grappling with the castiest filth accumulated over centuries. Well the campaign may not stop this anti-human treatment but it does cause a stir.

Our Role-

As Vivekananda once said-I only had faith over this youth as the rest are already dead. I feel the youth of this nation has to play a greater role, if this dirt, over the garment of this ancient nation, has to be removed.

Hurdle -

In India its not at all an easy job to deny this practice.

Infact this practice has become a ritual, a custom to be followed

When you try to reject this idea you are in fact rejecting the authority of "Samaj"

Still if one goes ahead he faces Ostracism- the weapon of the elites.

Marraige-

Chetan Bhagat once wrote in a article on TOI, that Inter-caste marraige is an extension of Patriotism. I fully agree with it & feels that this is the way we can hit the deathknell over this casteist filth.

Recently my friend faced similar treatment on marrying a lower caste girl. The amount of harrasment & social boycott he & his family faced was unfathomable.

Many youth may not agree with me, but if it happen do visit the villages or the Panchayat meetings & u will have the taste of it.

Parallel -Samaj////Neo-community-

I thought why not start a neo-community, which will run a parallel community so as to bring the reforms this country needs.

The youths are the epicentres of future.

Why not start a war against this social slavery & make a family of our own.

Let the server of this nation be loaded with thought of social reforms & coerce the snaily-politician to rise above caste-politics.

Lets support our friends & their family who face social ostracism. If this samaj can use their power why cant we use our power to dislodge them.

India needs unification & not discrimination.
